Different method to reset an expired password for MI users

At present when a password expires in VTS MI the only way to reset it is asking the CE to open a PMH to reset the admin user so it can reset the password of the user affected.
The customer would like that each user can reset their own password without needing to open a PMH neither have the administrator to do it.

We do not believe it is a valid security procedure to allow users to reset their own expired userid. Requiring an Admin user to perform this task is appropriate.

For further clarification, you are only exposed to losing all access to the system if you use local authentication exclusively, and all admin accounts expire. Using LDAP, for example, to manage the IDs externally avoids this issue.

We do not believe it is a valid security procedure to allow users to reset their own expired userid. Requiring an Admin user to perform this task is appropriate. If an Admin user is not available, it is still possible to request the SSR (CE) to reset the id.
