The request to surface media verification results via REST currently exist in the interface. If media verification fails on a given data cartridge the "GET /v1/dataCartridge" (https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/ts4500-tape-library/1.10.1?topic=cartridges-get-data) query will show the state of the data cartridge going to "verificationFailed". There will also be events that are retrievable from "GET /v1/events" (https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/ts4500-tape-library/1.10.1?topic=events-get) that show when media verification is started, completed, or failed.
This idea is now marked delivered. If you have additional questions, please post to IBM community forum for Tape Storage and if you have additional ideas in this area please open a new idea.
