Option to retain current tape assignments when removing/editing VOLSER ranges

Currently, if you have a VOLSER range defined, if you delete it, it will remove all assignments from LLs for tapes within that range. It would be useful to have a simple checkbox/API flag that allows you to skip the unassigning of tapes when a VOLSER range is modified, so when you make the change, or delete the VOLSER range, any existing LL assignments are retained.
