This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM System Storage products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

We're actively working on this and looking to start rolling out some APIs in 1H24. I don't have any more details to share right now.
@Matthew Smith Any update on the REST API capability for SI?\
Hi,
For example, would like to see function to be able to update credentials for devices monitored. Usually monitored devices are using user credentials which has to be changed each 90days on device. If having this available we could be more close to have automation for password changes deployed instead of doing it manually and preventing locking of such users while password being changed.
I don't have a closed date for this yet. Do you have a set of function that you're most interested in seeing?
Can you share an eta on the API capability being available? I'm not expecting a hard date but will this be available in 2022 or perhaps 2023?
