Report outdated disk firmware

The document "Supported Drive Types and Firmware Levels for IBM Storage Virtualize Family of Products" lists the minimum disk firmware level for each model used by IBM storages. SI has the model and firmware information about all the disks in the installbase. If a system has disks which are not at the latest firmware, there should be raised a "Warning" and if a system has disks which do not meet the minimum requirements an "Alert" should be raised.

We have 1300+ disks of 18 different models and there are 330+ disks in the List of Products. That is impossible to handle and that is a typical case of a monitoring system like SI is built for. I wonder why this is not implemented and systems having outdated disk firmware and are at known risk of data loss are displayed as "Healthy" in SI, which is in fact not true. There is no AI needed to implement this, just some common sense but if it helps to speed up implementation of such a basic feature, use as much AI as you like.

Another idea would be to report the release date of disk firmware or a dataset modification date on the "Supported Drive Types and Firmware Levels for IBM Storage Virtualize Family of Products" list where you can sort the entries. This would give a quick overview of what has changed recently, and you would find out a lot easier if a modification affects you.

Thank you and kind regards from
