This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM System Storage products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Hello Jason, we delivered this via REST API. We probably will deliver this on the report/view at some point in the future, but it's available now. ibm.biz/insightsrestapi
I am another user that would love to see this enhancement. We manually track this and use the Volume data report to feed it.
While an overall # will be better for overall planning, we too look at it similar to the example that was attached. One method may be to allow users to TAG ranges, this would allow us to see all ranges that belong to a customer or special purpose as well as how many are available within that grouping.
It would be nice to see the LSS use over time as well with a breakout on MOD size.
I was able to raise the original idea up to a priority: medium.
Could I please get the priority on this request raised up?
I would like to have the capacity reporting capability to report on storage at the LSS level. This will allow for our Mainframe Storage reporting to be more automatic and managed as somewhat messaged in my original request.
In addition and what will become more critical is our ability to split capacity reporting out at the LSS level per storage array as we will become more consolidated (shared) across the hardware and we will need to have a way to split out capacity for billing at the SYSPLEX (LSS/LCU) level.
Please do us a favor and give this some real consideration.
Thanks for this idea. We're looking at other DS8k enhancements over the next couple of releases, but we'll consider this in the future.
