When a TS7700 cluster is put in service prep mode for maintenance (RCL, for example), it ignores that it is in service prep mode and continues to issue CBR3750I message as if it was not. Some of those CBR messages generate false positive ticket and disturb the maintenance process. At that point the maintenance team has 2 options: ignore those CBR3750I messages (why can't the microcode do that and stop issuing them in the first place), which is not a good idea, or investigate them, which is time consuming. Some intelligence in the microcode would be appreciated.

After consultation with the customer, Development has ascertained that the messages being delivered is as designed and has been in place for many generations of TS7700 microcode. This functionality is working as designed and is not expected to be changed. Via host automation, it is recommended that you verify which messages you do not want to see.
