Missing informational event for rear door open status

While rear door open, inventory option for service magazine scan is not available. From customer point library functionality is limited, an informational event will help and provide correct hint. Within REST Get frame, we cover rear door status. Are there options to add REST Get frame output as well to GUI pod?

    This idea brings up two proposed items. The first is to add an informational event to report rear door open/close. This part of the request already exists. Event ID 3027 was created for rear door open and 302A for rear door closed. The second item is to investigate updating the GUI to more clearly show the front and rear door status. Door status is currently displayed in the GUI on the dashboard in the tool tips when hovering over the library hardware graphic. We are discussing the possibility of making this more clear without the need for hover.

    This request may not be delivered within the release currently under development, but the theme is aligned with the current multi-year strategy. IBM may consider and evaluate any community feedback for this request through activities such as voting. IBM will update this request in the future.
