FCM Win: Links to the VSS HW Provider Websites are out of date

The configuration wizard in the MMC prints a warning if no VSS Hardware Provider is installed. If you click on this Warning, then a list with links to websites appear where it is possible to download the VSS HW Provider.

The problem: The links in the MMC wizard are not out of date, but the websites itself are dramatically out of date. For example: Today, the VSS HW Providers listed on the website for SVC and XIV even do not work at all any more, because they are not compatible any more with its microcode.

Enhancement: Do not print links to the website, but print a link to the FTP server where the latest VSS HW Provider download is available.

Today (3.1) the FCM links to outdated HW Providers and if they are used it is hard and time-consuming to analyze the issues that appear then.

    Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:

    For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:

    Thank you for submitting the request. This is a recognized requirement and a solution appears to be desirable and feasible.  IBM intends to provide a solution in the next major release.
    However, IBM’s plans may change and no commitment is made that a solution will be provided.

    Hello, only the Link in the VSS Provider Web Site must be pointed to the new existing VSS Version. This is not a lot of work.

    The listed VSS Provider Version don't work with the last SVC Version with LDAP usage.
