Spectrum Protect Snapshot should recognize AIX LVM mirror setup after restore

The customer operates multiple IBM Db2 databases on the AIX platform using LVM mirrored volumes.
For performance reasons, specific LV to hdisk mappings are configured inside of the volume groups.
Snapshot backups are created by IBM Spectrum Protect Snapshot multiple times per day to reduce recovery times.
Both AIX LVM mirrors are being backed up in an alternating manner.

In case of a restore only one half of the LVM mirror is restored via a flashback operation, while the other half is unconfigured.
After the restore, SPS establishes a new LVM mirror relation again but ignores the specific LV to hdisk mappings that have been implemented previously, which leads to potential performance issues and inconsistencies between the live Db2 host and the external configuration management system.
SPS needs to be enhanced to remember the pre-restore LV to hdisk mapping and to apply this mapping again when rebuilding the LVM mirror relationship.
