Improve Spectrum Protect Snapshot for Unix to leverage Oracle BCT for offloaded tape backups

Spectrum Protect Snapshot for Oracle supports mounting a FlashCopy target set to a backup server (auxiliary server) and to perform rman incremental level 1 offloads to a Spectrum Protect server from there. In order to identify the changed blocks in the Oracle database, the whole database needs to be scanned, which causes a high read workload on the storage system that hosts the FlashCopy target disks.
The possibility to leverage Oracle's BCT (Block Change Tracking) feature on the backup proxy server would significantly speed up the offload process and reduce the load on the underlying storage system.
Enhance Spectrum Protect Snapshot in a way that it makes use of the BCT information of the production system when performing incremental level 1 offloaded backups through a backup proxy server.
