FCM Cloning: Lift multiple user limitation for Oracle

For the cloning process of FlashCopy Manager (FCM), it requires two users at the target clone system. One user to recover the cloned database (old sid) and one user to start it with the new sid. Each user runs with his own dedicated $ORACLE_SID.

This is not according to standard Oracle environments. In Standard Oracle environments (without SAP), you only have one user for all Oracle databases. After login with this one user, users set the environment for their specific database (e.g. setdb <db_name>).
In order to be consistent with Oracle processes, FCM forces Oracle Admins to use one user per database for the clone and the production systems. This is impacting the daily work to heavy.

Thank you for submitting your request. This is something that's in alignment with our present goals and current strategy and we are looking at when we would want to address this in a future release. This is not a commitment statement or promise to deliver as plans are subject to change. We will provide an update when this enhancement is delivered or if there is a shift in direction.
