Tivoli Flashcopy Manager support for DS8K Space Efficient Flashcopy

Client is in a Banking industry and a large customer of TSM and DS8K deployed site.( with several hundred TBs )
The bank wishes to consider using FCM with Oracle / DB on AIX / Solaris Platform with DS8K SE Flashcopy

Currently, FCM does not support DS8K SE Flashcopy.
Note The bank is not willing to consider using Full / or Nocopy Flashcopy due to equivalent diskspace costs....

    Note that FlashCopy Manager will not have plans to implement a solution to the suggested enhancement directly. This is in alignment with IBM's directions and is being targeted to be supported in a future release. This isn't a statement of commitment as plans may shift. In any event, we will provide an update to this request when the support is delivered or there is a change in direction.
