Allow IBM Fusion Backup to continue if PVCs disappear during the backup process

In a very volatile machine learning environment, PVCs are created and deleted frequently, controlled by the containerized application when users create or delete projects within the application. Let’s call these PVCs “User Project Volumes”.

It happens regularly that these volatile PVCs are removed while a Fusion backup is ongoing.

If a PVC is being removed during the CSI snapshot phase, backups fail with the following message: „Unable to find PersistentVolumeClaim XXX“.

The general intention is to backup all “User Project Volumes”; thus, it is not possible to exclude them by default, however it would be accepted if a short-living volume is not included in the backup.

Enhance IBM Fusion Backup & Restore with a parameter that allows to continue backup processing if one or more PVCs are not found.

This could be a general parameter for the datamovers, or a parameter to be used in a recipe.

E.g.: onMissingPvc = Fail / onMissingPvc = Ignore
