Detect additional types of PII using Watson NLP/ Watsonx.data integration for Storage Fusion Catalog

Detect additional types of PII using Watson NLP/ Watsonx.data integration for Storage Fusion Catalog.

Problem Statement: Today Storage Fusion Catalog has regular expression (regex) pattern matching capability to detect PII in unstructured data. While this detects certain types of PII like zip code, email address etc., it is challenging to detect customer names using regex as you need carefully crafted regular expressions for each customer.

Change Required: Use Watson NLP as part of the Storage Fusion Catalog content inspection pipeline to detect more types of PII like customer names. A prototype of this was created by the CTO office and is in GitHub but has not been incorporated into the product.
