Hi, this is affecting multiple customers in ***, *******, ******, *** ****** and many others. We forecast other accounts on the way having this requirements for Asynch replication (regional DR) in the very near future. Giving a the highest priority for this one can save many entitlements for Fusion as well as Cloud Paks. Needless to mention the importance of securing many other prospect deals in the sales pipeline. The ask, share clear roadmap AND accelerate GA'ing this critical feature. Thanks!
The issue is that this is our main solution for DR, and we’re driving our customers to go live on OpenShift and now there are customers that have decided/considering moving their production to a windows environment rather than OpenShift after almost more than 1 year of work to move them to OpenShift due to the deficiency that we’re having in our DR offering, as the Asynchronous replication is currently Tech preview and they cannot be live/production with it.
The status of this idea is "Planned for future release". May you please share which future release?
We really need a confirmed roadmap during 2023 for the regional DR feature of Fusion Data Foundation to be generally available for production use. It's currently in Technology Preview and it impacts us heavily.
