Multiple snapshot disk attached to same worker node from different namespaces which cause the "Failed Snapshot" in the backup because of the limitation in VMware end.

Issue where snapshot getting failed on daily backup jobs runs when we have multiple PV/PVCs from different namespace attached the same worker node because of the VMware end there is limitation to handle the multiple tasks at same time. When the first snapshot initiated the vmx file get locked and it will not allow second snapshot task until first snapshot task get completed by VMware end. So, when the second snapshot task goes to VMWare end to the VM it throws the error message "The operation is not allowed in the current state." because of the vmx file get locked by first task. Only vmx get released on the first task complete. This led into failed snapshot on the namespaces.

Suggestion we need to keep trying the snapshots tasks instead of failing. So, that will allow to eliminate the failure.

    OpenShift Version - 4.15

    IBM Fusion - 2.8.2

    Using VMware vSphere CSI driver.

Facing snapshot failed when multiple namespaces trying to take daily backup schedule and those multiple namespaces PVC attached in the same worker nodes. The reason when IBM fusion initiate the snapshot the request from multiple namespaces at a same time goes to vCenter to the specific VM. When the snapshot initiate to the attached PVC based on the first request it will lock the VMX file of the VM and the second request for the PVC which is attached on the same VM will not allow because of the VMX file got locked. Until the first request complete and it will allow the further request. This is expected behavior from VMware end. Now IBM fusion has to come with the plan how to mitigate this issue.
