Support Linux Itanium 2 SLES 10SP3

The last TSM client version supported of Linux Itanium 2 is TSM Client 5.5

My client has critical server on Itanium 2 and wants to upgrade to TSM Client version 6.2 in order to take advantage of TSM deduplication. So he needs an enhacement of this support. Thank you for your help.

    Thank you for submitting this enhancement request, we do understand the requirement and the rationale behind it but unfortunately we currently do not plan to implement this enhancement request. we currently support the Itanium chipset on MS Windows and HP-UX but we do not plan to extend this, the full list of supported OS and chipsets can be found here: http://www-01.ibm.com/software/tivoli/products/storage-mgr/platforms.html?S_CMP=rnav
    the latest version of the client that supported Linux on Itanium chipsets was 5.5 which is still supported
