Configuration Manager Enhancement

Dear Ladies and Gentleman's,
We need one Enhancement for Configuration Manager built in TSM Server.
In PMR 69945,077,724 with reference to PMR 66666,077,724 and in PMR 66666,077,724 I discussed with second Level Support of TSM about the possibilities of Configuration Management of TSM.
At yet exists two different types:
"OLD" = before Change procedure from PMR 66666,077,724 (Standard on Linux based Server after DEFINE SUBSCRIPTION)

Behavior: The Domain-objects cannot be propagated to managed server with registered nodes in this domains, for example a new MGM Class. But I can define additional Objects local, for example a new MGM Class.

"NEW" = after Change procedure from PMR 66666,077,724

Behavior: The Domain-objects will be propagated to managed server with registered nodes in this domains. But all additional Objects (local defined), for example an additional MGM Class, will be deleted after synchronization (set configrefresh)

Is it possible to set behavior of Config Management to the mix of both:

Optimal for us and I think for many other users with large farm of TSM Servers with widely heterogeneous requirement from heterogeneous nodes would be:
The Domain-objects will be propagated to managed server with registered nodes in this domains to and I can define additional Objects local, for example a new MGM Class.

My proposal is “NEW” behavior will be standard and DEFINE SUBSCRIPTION command get one additional Parameter OVERWRITE=YES/NO.
OVERWRITE=YES is default and all additional Objects like MGM classes will be overwritten.
This is standard at yet.
OVERWRITE=NO is possible and all additional Objects like MGM classes will be not overwritten and stay on the server after synchronization.
DEFINE SUBSCRIPTION command get follow Syntax

>>-DEFine SUBSCRIPtion-
profile_name------>

>--+------------------------+----------------------------------><
'-SERVer--=--server_name-'

.-OVERWRITE--=--YES----------.
>--+------------------------------------+----------------------->
'-OVERWRITE-=--NO-+-'

Many thanks,

with best regards,

A. Dunaevskiy

    Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
    Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Storage
    Product - Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) Family

    For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - Tivoli
    Product family - Storage
    Product - Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) Family

    Thank you for submitting this request. After deeper review, it was understood that the request is asking for resolution of APAR IC62300 when in fact the issue that led to this problem was due to a code bug that unfortunately did not get fully diagnosed based on the information provided in the PMR. Since there is a solution already provided for APAR IC62300 this request is being closed. If the issue resurfaces and requires diagnosis again, it is recommended that another PMR be opened to determine a full diagnosis and root cause determination. Thank you for your support and continued investment in moving our Tivoli Storage Manager products forward.
