TSM Not Backing Up AD LDS Files

TSM doesn't seem to be backing up the primary files for the AD LDS
(Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services) application installed
on a couple of my servers. Please see the attached Word document for
more details and screenshots.

Client:
OS: Windows 2008 R2 SP1
TSM Client Version: TSM v6.4.0.0 and v6.4.1.0 Windows clients

TSM Server:
OS: Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.3 (Santiago)
TSM Server: 6.3.4.0

Im sure youre aware of this already, but its not uncommon for
Windows applications to have VSS writers which interface between backup
programs and the applications. The basic idea is that the backup
program sends a command that its getting ready to back things up, the
VSS writer communicates that to the app, and the app freezes
momentarily so everything is in a consistent state and provides a list
of files to the VSS writer and backup program.

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:

The TSM product team has evaluated this request for enhancement, understands what you are seeking and acknowledges that this is a valid request. Unfortunately at this time we will be unable to implement a solution in the next year or two. If after the next release of TSM, you would like this RFE to be reconsidered, please resubmit your request. We appreciate your input and suggestions in making our products better and more competitive.
