This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM System Storage products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We are updating the documentation to clarify this issue and will include those updates in our next releases.
This RFE stems from cases
35245,101,616 and 35383,101,616
It turns out that the documentation confused the support staff when they wanted to determine if a Filesystem is on support. In the table "Supported file systems and ACL support" it only shows NFS as supported for AIX. When I raised a call against a Mac client backing up over NFS, support came back and said that NFS is NOT supported on ANYTHING but AIX and referred me to that table.
That is what prompted this RFE. The single statement from support put our whole workflow into question.
I would like the documentation made less confusing for support so I don't waste a month on somthing trivial.
Grant
35383,101,616 says that NFS is supported.
could I get the documentation clearly indicate that it is supported.
I was asked to continue the NFS support discussion in another case. This case number is 35383,101,616
