"move drmedia" command needs a checklabel option for TS3500 Tape Library (3584)

When ejecting tapes for DRM off site storage, the "move drmedia" command will first verify the tape label by mounting the tape in a tape drive before ejecting into an I/O slot. <br /><br />We have a TS3500 (3584) with ALMS enabled. TSM Server EE v5.5.6.0 running on AIX v6.1. I will be upgrading this server to v6.4 in the next month, but don't see any enhancements at that level either.

    TSM Server has a command "SET DRMCHECKLABEL" that appears to do what you have requested. THis is available today in TSM product.

    I believe I found an answer... I stumbled across a TSM Server parameter "SET DRMCHECKLABEL" that appears to do what I have requested.

    Perhaps my request could provide an "override" to the "SET DRMCHECKLABEL" parameter.
