RELATED IDEAS

incremantal backup via NDMP

Since TSM's limitation of doing NDMP backup of filer as full+differential. So if its having feature of adding incremental as one option, so we don't need to waste space by having differential backup as its become so large at one point until u do full again.

    While consistent with our current product direction, we cannot at this time commit to delivery of this enhancement in the next release or two. If,
    after our next release of TSM, you still would like this requirement to be re-considered, please reopen it in RFE and we will again consider it. Thank you
    for your commitment to TSM and for your support in moving the product forward.

    Thank you for submitting this request. This is a recognized requirement and a solution appears to be desirable. This request is not in a committed release plan for this year, but the theme is aligned with our multi-year strategy, and may be a candidate for a future release. IBM’s plans may change and no commitment is made that a solution will be provided.
