Timeout value for recieving file information during inspection

The new feature I would like to have implemented is just a simple timeout value (or some kind of watchdog) which skips the inspection and backup of a file when the file information is not retrievable during inspection.<br />An additional help would be if a warning message would be created when this timeout occurs (naming the path and name of the affected file).

    Thank you for your request. There is a related PMR which was closed after providing a work around. We are not planning to make any changes in this area, so are closing this RFE as rejected - the work around provided in the PMR is the best we can do at this point in time. We appreciate your interest in helping to improve our product.
