Exclude pagefile and c:\temp

Hello,

It would be good to exclude from image backup by default the system
pagefile and hiberfile (like veeam do).

Additional excludes like c:\temp could improve some backup situation.

    Thank you for submitting this request. We apologize for the delay in our response. While this is in alignment with our current product direction and is a known requirement, unfortunately at this time we cannot commit to delivery of a solution in the next release or two. Our present guidance is to follow VMware storage best practices recommending placement of the swap drive on a dedicated disk (.vmdk) and either exclude that disk from DP for VMware backup. More simply, one could make the disk independent so that it does not participate in the snapshot.

    If after the next release of Tivoli Storage Manager you would like this to be reconsidered, please resubmit your request. We will continue to track this enhancement request internally. We sincerely appreciate your feedback and support in making our products better.
