Cluster-in-a-box official support by TSM for Virtual Environment

Customer BNPP/BPI2 needs to backup VM in a VMware environment with TSM for VE that use "Cluster-in-a-box" configuration. This configuration is a cluster within a VM configuration (like MSCS clusters) sharing a common Virtual Volume (not a RDM, not a pRDM or vRDM). This configuration is officially supported by VMware as indicated in the following WEB site : http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=1037959

No information is provided in the TSM for VE documentation or other documentation if it is supported, so it is assumed it is not supported (only found a technote on that subject :http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21600617 , but what if we don't use controller in bus-sharing mode ?)
