Dynamic Load of DB2 Logger Manager for DB2 log archive Backups

When performing DB2 log archives the DB2 logger preloads the TSM Configuration, any changes made the the archive copy group require a cycle of the DB2 instance. This creates an unnessary outage for a simple archive copygroup change, advise that the db2logger allow for dynamic loads instead of preloading the configuration.

    Unfortunately at this time, there will not be an implementation of the requested enhancement in the next release. However, the requirement still continues to be tracked internally for prioritization consideration. We value your input and thank you for your support in making our products better.

    Thank you for submitting this request. We apologize for the delay in our response. This particular request requires an enhancement to be made by DB2 which we are currently discussing with their product teams. We will provide an update once we understand the plans from DB2 regarding this request.
