This enhancement can easily be delivered by:
- Create a 6.3.4.000-TIV-TSMRPT-AGENT-zLinux.bin or 6.3.4.000-TIV-TSMRPT-AGENT-zLinux tar, gzip file for application support only of ITM for TSM 6.3.4 on zlinux ITM TEMS, TEPS servers containing:
-- Script install.sh with PLATFORM_SUPPORTED_CHECK=NO from script comment of "Set to NO if the install is for media containing Application Support files"
-- Add the following zLinux GSKIT files to above 6.3.4.000-TIV-TSMRPT-AGENT-zLinux package

-- Document in TSM 6.3.4 and later releases Information Center that zLinux servers are only supported for ITM TSM application support of zlinux ITM TEMS, TEPS servers
PMR 15228,057,649 opened with workaround below needed to be done to get ITM for TSM 6.3.4 application support installed on zLinux ITM TEMS, TEPS servers. This enhancement request has NOT been delivered. Requesting that this enhancement request be reopened.
Workaround:
- Transfer file 6.3.4.000-TIV-TSMRPT-AGENT-Linux.bin from ftp://public.dhe.ibm.com/storage/tivoli-storage-management/maintenance/reporting/v6r3/6.3.4.000/ to a Linux on Intel server. Execute to extract files. Then create a tar file and make extracted tar file content accessible to the zLinux ITM TEMS, TEPS servers
- Update install.sh to set PLATFORM_SUPPORTED_CHECK variable to NO to resolve error message of:
install.sh failure: KCI1148E This is not a supported platform or the installation media does not contain any components supported on this platform.
- For ITM TSM application support to work on zLinux ITM TEMS, TEPS servers, need the following 4 files in the ITM TSM 6.3.4 agent package

cp gsls3263.ctp /sis/software/TIVOLI/ITM/ITM_TSM_Agent/634/Linux64/unix/GSKit

cp gsls3263.dsc /sis/software/TIVOLI/ITM/ITM_TSM_Agent/634/Linux64/unix
to resolve install.sh error message of:
install.sh failure: KCI1249E GSK installation error: platform "ls3266" not supported, no proper tar file in "" directory.
This capability has been delivered with TSM 6.4 (TSM server 6.3.3). We have a small agent install in TSM 6.4 that will meet this requirement.
