Possibility to update components in Storage Protect software independant

As the amount of security issues of components that are included in Storage Protect software (for example Java and DB2 in Storage Protect Server, log4j in Storage Protect Client or TDP4VE) is massivly rising we would ask that you check if these components could be updated/patched independant from the official Storage Protect Version packages.

This would be a large step towards better product security.

We are having encreasing discussions with the security team about the security issues in components of Storage Protect software. We also see arguments that maybe Storage Protect might not be the best choice regarding security issues and solving them.

So the mentioned possibility to patch the above stated components independant would be a great pro in discussion about products and security on the side of Storage Protect - and maybe IBM software in general.
