Storage pool option migration by age required

Because of the way the SP server is selecting data eligible for migration, new data may be migrated out from DISK to FILE or from FILE to 3592, while old data remains on DISK/ FILE forever. We found data in a FILE storage pool which was more than 10 years old and which was never selected for migration. We had to do a MOVE DATA to move the old data from FILE to 3592.

The available options are to specify a migration delay (MIGDELAY) which prevents migration of data for MIGDELAY days; for example, migration of new data and data which is being re-accessed will be prevented for MIGDELAY days.

With migration continue (MIGCONTINUE) set to NO, data which is meeting the MIGDELAY condition will not be migrated, although the storage pool may run out of space.

With MIGCONTINUE set to YES, data which is meeting the MIGDELAY condition may be migrated out to the next storage pool until LOWMIG is reached.

We are playing with combinations of available options, but it is not satisfying our needs.

We need a SP server storage pool option which allows to migrate oldest data first, which is not available today.
