Enable Storage Protect server to write its database backups to two sites in parallel

For redundancy reasons, customers operate and replicate Storage Protect servers and user data in/ between multiple sites.
A Storage Protect server is able today, to write user data ingested into the Storage Protect server to two storage pools in parallel, allowing to write user data to two sites in parallel (see COPY STORAGE POOLs).
For the Storage Protect server database backup this is not possible today. The database backup can only be written to one DEVICE CLASS at a time. With this, a Storage Protect server database backup can only be written to 1 site at a time. If, for redundancy reasons, the Storage Protect server database backup is required in 2 sites, the database backups need to be written one after the other. Because of this, the recovery date and time for the Storage Protect server will be different for site 1 and site 2.

We request to enable the Storage Protect server to write its database backups to 2 sites in parallel.

Our suggestion is to enhance the Storage Protect server BACKUP DB command allowing to specify multiple DEVICE CLASSes. In addition to this, the enhanced BACKUP DB command needs to allow to customize the behavior in case one database backup stream fails; like the COPYCONTINUE setting for COPY STORAGE POOLs.

The enhanced BACKUP DB command would like like this:

BACKUP DB DEVCLASS=devclass_site1,devclass_site2 DBBCONTINUE=YES|NO TYPE=... the rest remains same as it is today.

This IDEA would be a great add on for the workitem already in progress, allowing to store multiple database backups on one tape. This enhancement would allow to fill 2 tapes in 2 sites in parallel and would make things more failure tolerant.
