Disaster recovery from Storage Protect backup pool for big file systems

We are running multiple Storage Scale file systems in the multi Petabyte size. All data are in Storage Protect backup. The backup is very valuable in case of user driven data loss. But in the case of a disaster where the complete file system is lost, the recovery process is very time consuming (all data are on tape) and users/projects must be prioritized to recover and get the file system back into production.

We know IBM Storage Scale SOBAR, but to enable it on all big file systems creates a high workload and creates costs in terms of tapes and tape drives.

Therefore a stubfile restore out of the Protect backup pool would be a great feature.

We would like to be able to do a very fast restore but from the Backup pool. Means if no HSM was setup and active, so no stub files in filesystem (no data on Server in the SpaceMan Pool) we  would like to run a restore out of Backup Pool and just create Stub files based on metadata very fast. Later on with DMAPI enabled filesystem and HSM installed, we would be able to recall file tape optimized, but access to system can be recreated very fast. So this would generate a very fast and valuable disaster recovery process for big filesystems, based on the backup/archive client data.
