Shape the future of IBM!

We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Search existing ideas

Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,

Post your ideas
  1. Post an idea.

  2. Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.

  3. Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Upgrade of ISP4VE 8.1.23 to 8.1.23.x deletes key.jks truststore

The upgrade from ISP4VE 8.1.23.0 to 8.1.23.x deletes the C:\IBM\SpectrumProtect\webserver\usr\servers\veProfile\resources\security\key.jks truststore file and the steps which are documented in https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/spfve/8.1.23?topic=cssdpv-configuring-data-protection-vmware-vsphere-gui-communication-vcenter-server need to be repeated.

ISP4VE upgrade process should never touch/delete the truststore file key.jks. It should be treated like any other certificate or config or logfile.

There only has been opened doc APAR IT46902 describing the issue.
