File list limited for 1000 lines using restore node commnad

Hi team,

we are using 

restore node NODE_NAME /FS FILELIST=FILE:/list_files_in_HEX.txt nametype=HEXadecimal.

 

We are restoring data from NAS node. Customer is using France Diacritics in DIR and File names which impact filler on NAS side. Filler is unable to interpret files names which Spectrum Protect server is sending him. We got no error on SP side even using detailed tracing. We has SW support tickets opened for that (TS015170274, TS015942644) and only solution is to specify each DIR and File name by HEXadecimal mode. It works for us and desired data are restored OK even those which use diacritics. File path which has no Diacritics are restored OK without HEX and file list need. 

Example to restore DIR: /Echanges_Entreprises_Integration/00 - Sas/Métiers 

Customer need to restore thousands of files in Métiers DIR and subdir. 

We encountered error doc here :

One of temporary solution is to split  list_files_in_HEX.txt into more files by split -l 1000 file_name but it is useless to restore millions of files which is our case

We would like  to ask you to remove any limitation for lines specified in FILELIST.

Or case :

We got over 21 millions of files in 1 NAS FS contain 20TB of data. We are simply doomed to recover data if customer ask for restore that FS in case of disaster.  We use LAN-FEE and save data directly to tape LTO7. One restore operation take ~1 day. Our FILELIST has 21 millions of lines. Our Spectrum Protect server version is 8.1.17. We got more smaller NAS nodes but similar using France diacritics in his path name.

It will definitely benefit for all customers using Diacritics in his DIR or file naming convention.
