Add support for Google Cloud Storage buckets defined with Customer Managed Encryption keys

Support for Google Cloud Storage (GCS) as a cloud container pool is currently restricted to using Google Managed Keys (GMK) for encryption on the buckets on the Google side. The use of Customer Managed Keys (CMS) is a common mandatory requirement for companies using GCS buckets and the lack of support for CMS or any other HSM key management system for encryption within Spectrum Protect prevents the approval of using of GCS as a cloud container pool.

This request is to provide support for the use of writing Spectrum Protect backup data to cloud container pools backed by GCS storage where the GCS buckets have been created using Customer Managed Encryption keys.

    To clarify...

Q1: Are you requesting SP integrate with key manager for storage pool encryption?

Q2: Or are you asking for a statement of support that SP supports GCP when GCP is performing encryption (which is default) and using customer managed keys?
