SCDM - RFE title Granular LDAP queries than trying to scan in the entire AD Domain.

Storage Copy Data Management - We currently cannot handle scale for the amount of LDAP groups that are being attempted to be loaded for a case. Based on the error displaying an "out of memory" error message, it appears that the issue is related to the application attempting to load all groups into memory. It is evident that our application is not optimised to handle such a significant amount of data. Unfortunately, we do not have any immediate solutions or workarounds for this problem. We currently cannot handle scale for the amount of LDAP groups that are being attempted to be loaded for this case. We either need to come up with a catalog based solution or see if somehow the customer can provide more of a filter on the Group RDN so that it reduced the LDAP Group load enough to not hit the memory condition and hang.

The customer could not re-do/modify LDAP for one product. As he has many other IBM products that integrate with LDAP as-is. How can we get CDM development to put code into the product that doesn't just simply try to scan our entire LDAP directory? In other IBM products, we have to define the groups explicitly that we want to have permissions vs. the system trying to display everything we can click and choose.
