Ability to delete volumes from vSnap storage.

The ability to empty or move data from existing storage disks and then delete the disks volumes from a vSnap server would make the process of changing the underlying storage environment much easier. If we want to change out an EOS/EOL storage array with a new array, there is no easy way to do so without doing a block by block copy of the disks from the old array to the new array while maintaining the exact same size and number of disks. The ability to add the new storage array to the vSnap server and then by either command line or GUI, move the data to the new disks would greatly ease the procedure.

    This request may not be delivered within the release currently under development, but the theme is aligned with the current multi-year strategy. IBM may consider and evaluate any RFE Community feedback for this request through activities such as voting. IBM will update this request in the future.
