This applies to Spectrum CDM: Full Copy

By default backup jobs create the first copy as a full copy on thin volumes. Being a full copy, the 80% threshold set as a warning value is always exceeded, generating emails and alarm events. Is it possible to set by default the value to 0 (disabled) on the first copy, leaving the possibility to set a threshold value only on the incremental copies (it would be an important indication of possible compromise when the incremental copies should increase beyond a certain threshold) ?

    IBM has evaluated the request, and has determined that it can not be implemented at this time. This request may be resubmitted for consideration after 18 months from the date of submission. The request submitter will automatically be notified by email when the request qualifies for reconsideration and resubmission.
