Enhance Spectrum Protect to use Tapefunction Recomended Access Order for repair stg Containerpool from Tape.

The current support of tapefunction in Protect has more then one gaps in the area off use tape storage. The main concerns are the support of tape in the relation to containerstg. These current designs generate a alongated repair time if we want to restore a complete containerpool from tapes because of a cybercrime attack. This is critical for us.
The current Tape drive has since TS1160 the function RAO (recommended access order) These function has the possibility to enhance the readperformance of tape object in the range of 4-6!!
We require these function assap in Protect.
As you know the Tape Storage are an importend factor to enhance our cyberrecilience stability.

    There has been no update for more than one year now. Is it still under consideration? The requirement to be able to restore a container pool from tape as fast as possible is becoming more and more urgent in times with increasing cyber attack activities, especially with attacks in the backup environments. RAO can help to decrease the restore time significantly. Please provide an update with the current plan!

    This request may not be delivered within the release currently under development, but the theme is aligned with the current multi-year strategy. IBM may consider and evaluate any RFE Community feedback for this request through activities such as voting. IBM will update this request in the future.
