Information for SpMg file systems (dsmdf) should be displayable on all nodes in an HSM cluster; not just on the mgmt node

Information for SpMg file systems (through the provided standard tool dsmdf) should be displayable on all nodes in an HSM cluster; not just on the mgmt node. More than just being a convenient feature to see the file system state, inode information, and space information on any node in the HSM cluster, it is a badly needed feature to be able to verify whether a particular node is active (a), inactive (i), or global inactive (gi) on specific SpMg file systems. The current "ANS9099E" in the log is not enough to understand the real issue behind problems from global deactivation. Getting the SpMg state of any node in the HSM cluster should be a basic feature. For continued monitoring as well as for problem determination.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Storage
Product - Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) Family

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - Tivoli
    Product family - Storage
Product - Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) Family

Thank you for submitting the request. This is a recognized requirement and a solution appears to be desirable and feasible.  IBM intends to provide a solution in the next major release.
However, IBM’s plans may change and no commitment is made that a solution will be provided.
