Official support for DB2 HADR in Spectrum Protect Server

Although it is easy to find IBM documents recommending DB2 HADR as a replication solution for Spectrum Protect Server database (f.i. https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/6212198) it is not oficially supported. For this reason these products are not fully compatible.

A good example of this incompatibility is Spectrum Protect Server behaviour when "takeover by force" is executed on a standby DB2 node when the primary DB2 node is not available. During startup after failover Spectrum Protect Server v. 8.1 restarts DB2 instead just connecting to it. The problem is that when the old primary node is not available DB2's new primary node must be started with "by force" option, but Spectrum Protect Server does not use this option causing DB2 restart failure. In this case special handling is required by Spectrum Protect Server:

1) Detection if DB2 HADR is used and HADR_ROLE = PRIMARY, HADR_STATE = DISCONNECTED, and "by force" takeover option was used

2) If true and DB2 start is required use "by force" option (command line: "db2 start hadr on database <DB> as primary by force")
