SPP| exclude single folder from VM snapshot backup

In SPP for VM snapshot base backup, exclude single folder from VM snapshot backup. End user want to exclude there application/DB folder (one/more than one folder or particular extension for file like .mdf,.ldf)

    Juan, this is to exclude the SQL Server DB folders/files from the VM backup, so that the SQL Server VM can be protected, outside of the SQL Server application backup. This would be a SLA policy level setting.

    Is this for VM content, folder or SQL agent? Protecting SQL database within VM?
