TSM to have capability to use DAR for multiple file level restore in NDMP

I have a TSM-NAS setup using NDMP protocol. The TSM node that I use is considered as a NAS node. NAS setup in TSM server was implemented to backup EMC NS960. I found out during one of my restores that I can not do multiple file level restore using DAR (direct access recovery) on an image backup. This can only be done if I choose a single file at a time. The new feature I need is to remove this limitation and have the capability of restoring multiple files on a single restore process.

    Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:

    Thank you for submitting the request. Tivoli Storage Manager agrees with the request and a solution appears to be a desirable objective. 
    TSM's NDMP support currently allows direct-access recovery for files but not directories, and
    there are currently no  plans to provide requested function.  No IBM commitment is made or implies as to the
    eventual delivery of an acceptable solution.
