DCU (Customer) did a CDM snapshot across the 2 AIX servers. Then a situation came up where they had a need to do a restore and it failed with the exception “com.catalogic.ecx.ibmsvcprovider.exception.IBMSVCExecCommandException: CMMVC9071E: Cannot remove a mapping because it is a shared mapping.” Since then, Mainline has been working to confirm the correct process for doing a snapshot and a snapshot restore via CDM. That led us up to this point. For reference, the relevant IBM support case numbers are: TS008033335 and TS007374469.
add support for PowerHA AIX cluster configuration for File system backup and restore. Customer has a cluster configuration that SCDM has to add support for and not just removing shared mappings.

Hi,
I am not sure if it is an option that you can accept.
But have you tried a plain ASNODE cluster configuration?
SP> GRANT PROXYNODE TARGET=physicalserver ASNODE=clusternode
And in the dsm.sys, add:
ASNODE clusternode
