Get actual data size of data stored using API

TSM should provide the actual size of the data object stored using the TSM API.

Possible solutions:
A) update the size value after the transfer completes with the actual size (preferred).
B) introduce a second size value (one: allocated, other: actual size)
C) Introduce a means for the application to update the size value after the transfer completes.

    Unfortunately we did not implement a solution as suggested in this request in most recent releases. This requirement is actually something we must collaborate with DB2 since this is more about how TSM and DB2 can communicate in surfacing the desired information up to the user. We will continue to be discussing this with the DB2 team as a requirement for them and since they use a different tracking mechanism for RFEs, we will be rejecting this record.

    Thank you for submitting the request. This is a recognized requirement and a solution appears to be desirable. This request is not in a committed release plan for next year,
    but the theme is aligned with our multi-year strategy, and will be a candidate for our future release. IBM’s plans may change and no commitment is made that a solution will be provided.

    would be very useful to know the image size before extracting from tsm
