Enable text based output from Rest API

Rest API query for license usage comes out as pdf, excel or html. These are not well suited to import to other systems for automation. I would like the output as text, like csv file.

    This request may not be delivered within the release currently under development, but the theme is aligned with the current multi-year strategy. IBM may consider and evaluate any RFE Community feedback for this request through activities such as voting. IBM will update this request in the future.

    Christian Petersson, what does sppclient solve?

    Look here as an example of requests -> responses from the SPP API: https://pastebin.com/vdD0S4jG

    Having to parse XML from the 93-2003 excel file or parse the HTML from the view page to get the data is so trash and very wrong when all we want is the raw data.

    Having the result in JSON or CSV (literally ANYTHING other than HTML or XML) would make this so much easier and better to work with.

    What we need is to get a json/text output with license usage. Right now, we can only get a pdf, excel or a html page as ouput from the RestAPI's. Just like the GUI based reports.

    Look at Github for sppclient

    https://github.com/sppautomation/sppclient

    That will solve your RFE request or issue.
    If can ask the question on Slack if you need help with some coding or open a ticket on github.
