Restore SQL to the same SQL Server with another name

Customer wants to restore a DB to the same SQL system with a new name. This is only possible when defining a different data path. The restore works fine but the name of the data- and logfile will be the same as the original files.
example: We try to restore DB again by giving different names for data & log files. Like below.
D:\Data01\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL14.INST02\DATA\ARCHWF_D.mdf
D:\LOG01\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL14.INST02\DATA\ARCHWF_D_log.ldf
Instead of creating new mdf & ldf files with different names (Like TDP or FCM used to do), SPP created different folders. Within the folders it created MDF & log files with same existing DB name.

This request may not be delivered within the release currently under development, but the theme is aligned with the current multi-year strategy.
