this applies to Spectrum CDM: Show Jobs IDs and SLA Policies IDs in CDM GUI

Client remark: When a user defines in Spectrum CDM GUI a new backup or restore job, and also when a user defines a new "SLA Policy", a unique ID is assigned to the job and a unique ID is assigned to the SLA Policy. Both IDs are used @ storage subsystem level in Flashcopy mappings and volumes names that are created by jobs. But theses IDs are not shown in Spectrum CDM GUI (see document attached), while it would be very useful to be able to match volumes and Flashcopy mapping created by Spectrum CDM in the storage subsystem with associated Spectrum CDM job and SLA Policy. Today the only way to get IDs is to look at logs content. (See powerpoint file attached)

HI, it can be also very interesting to have a reference name in the description on the storage. We are only human and it is not confortable to decrypt ID's with systems.

This request may not be delivered within the release currently under development, but the theme is aligned with the current multi-year strategy. IBM may consider and evaluate any RFE Community feedback for this request through activities such as voting. IBM will update this request in the future.
