Generate Backupset enhancements

We use the Generate Backupset option for long term offsite storage. With this we use Nodegroups to capture depending on how long a set should be kept for.

What would be nice is if:

A) reporting was a little more accurate...when a set runs I'll have 15 succeed, 15 fail but the process will end in a 'success', I'll have to troll through the logs to see which finished successfully and which failed.

B) when a backupset of a node is running it would be good if it would capture the different FSID's rather than failing the entire job if a problem occurs....it's very common for me to run a backupset of a large file server, get 1tb or more into it and then it dies...when the entire thing is 1.2tb it would be nice if the backupset would salvage something from the job, even if I have to go into the BAClient to see what was captured and what wasn't I could then capture the addtional 200gb and not spend another 12 hours wasting a tape drive to capture the backupset.

Thanks guys, hope to hear from you!

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Storage
Product - Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) Family

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - Tivoli
    Product family - Storage
Product - Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) Family

Thank you for submitting the request. This is a recognized requirement and a solution appears to be desirable. This request is not in a committed release plan for next year,
but the theme is aligned with our multi-year strategy, and will be a candidate for our future release. IBM’s plans may change and no commitment is made that a solution will be provided.
