Spectrum Protect Container Storage Pool Storage Space Reduction

Bosch is requesting a Spectrum Protect server administrative command which allows the administrator to reclaim container storage pool space including deletion of empty volumes from the file system.
In an optimal implementation, the administrative command should result into a Spectrum Protect server process which can be monitored and cancelled.
The command/ process should enable the administrator to easily reduce the container storage pool size in the range of no longer used storage pool space, and, in addition, allow the administrator to delete empty container storage pool volumes so that the Spectrum Protect server will delete those from the file system, too.
Goal is to reduce the container storage pool capacity and to free up file system space.

    This request may not be delivered within the release currently under development, but the theme is aligned with the current multi-year strategy. IBM may consider and evaluate any RFE Community feedback for this request through activities such as voting. IBM will update this request in the future.
